Barre Class

  • Meet us at the Barre! Barre Classes are a creative workout, combining the joint control of Pilates with the grace and technique of Ballet and the strength from Sports Conditioning.
  • This class is designed to tone the thighs, lift the butt, sculpt the arms and flatten the abdominals. Barre classes help to lengthen the muscles, creating an elongated, lean physique. Equipment such as balls, weights and bands are added for further challenge to the body.

Barre classes are suitable for those with a moderate level of fitness or who understand the principles of Pilates. This cardio exercise class is not for anyone new to exercise due to the fast pace and physical challenge of the class.

What to wear? Wear something you can stretch in and that will keep you cool- you’re likely to raise your heart beat and get quite warm. Sticky bottomed socks are advised for this class.

What to bring? Bring a bottle of water and a towel! Everything else is provided
