Balance Class


Life is a balancing act! Most of the Balance Class exercises can be undertaken standing and sitting; we use lots of equipment to assist and increase exercise challanges; chairs, balls, resistance bands, weights, foam rollers… the list is endless.

It is a wonderful exercise class if you have had recent surgery and is designed to assist you getting back to undertaking every-day tasks with confidence. This class is filled with lovely people who are all aiming for the same thing: to stay upright and not fall over! These classes boast a very mixed age group from 50-90+!

Transferable Exercises for you to use at home

Challenging classes; we incorporate a range of small equipment such as balls, bands and toning circles to keep you thinking 

Exercises can be regressed or progressed for each individual- we want you to feel supported.

If you are unsure if the class is suitable,please do drop us an email before attending. You might prefer to book an Individual Session before joining in a group. This can be arranged by contacting NY Studio. Individual Sessions provide you with the skill set required to feel confident about entering a group setting.

What to bring:

All the equipment is provided, so you don’t need to worry about this.

We suggest layers of clothing that you can move freely in. Please guys, ensure that if you do wear shorts, that you are well-supported, otherwise it can get a bit awkward for your teacher. Sticky bottomed socks are ideal.

Classes are bookable as a Term or a Payment Plan. Pricesvary depending on how you decide to pay.
